Activities in Norwich
We have a regular evening social meeting in Norwich on the
second thursday of every month.
These are for anyone interested in Gnu/Linux or any Free/Open
Source software.
We used to meet in The City Gate, Dereham Road but we are moving across the road to The Reindeer, meetings start ~ 8pm and go till everyone disappears (See under "Venues" below for more information).
There are also weekend afternoon meetings, usually on a sunday, held every few months at various different venues.
Meetings that are planned for a few months in advance are inevitably provisional. Dates and/or venues can and do change!
Although we try and keep the website up to date, please check the ALUG mailing lists (archives readable online) to confirm before turning up.

On train lines from Peterborough, Ely, Ipswich, Cromer, Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Cambridge, buses from King's Lynn and Fakenham, and A140, A47 and A11 roads.

Significant Statistic
Norwich has been the busiest for ALUG, with more meetings held here than any other area. The first Norwich meeting was on 20 June 1999, a month after the first ALUG meeting.
